The Rock Eagle Owls (Bubo bengalensis) are large horned owls found in South Asia, where they inhabit hilly and rocky scrub forests, shrub deserts, evergreen forests, but appear to favor rocky places. They tend to avoid humid evergreen forests and pure deserts.
They are usually seen in pairs.
