The Fawn-breasted Tanagers (Pipraeidea melanonota) occurs in the Andes of northwestern Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, as well as in the highlands of northeastern Argentina, south Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
