The Straw-headed Bulbul or Bulbul À Tête Jaune (Pycnonotus zeylanicus) is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, and Singapore.

It inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland and mangrove forests, moist shrubland, arable land, plantations, and rural gardens.

The continued existence of this species is threatened by habitat destruction.
